HDFC Bank, L&T drive Sensex 300 points higher; Nifty tops 11,300

At 09.50 am, BSE flagship Sensex was up 318 points or 0.84 per cent at 38,358, led by gains in HDFC Bank, L&T and Reliance Industries.
