Nifty touches 15,000 for first time but fails to hold on

The Sensex touched a high of 51,073.27 points before ending at 50,731.63, up 117.34 or 0.23%. The Nifty ended up 28.60 points or 0.19% at 14,924.25, after setting an intraday high of 15,014.65.
